Digitalization consulting: processes that finally run by themselves
Analyze, digitalize and automate processes — without a big bang. We guide mid-sized companies from the as-is analysis to the live digital workflow, vendor-neutral and with your team.
Digitalization in mid-sized companies rarely succeeds as one big project but in steps: you reshape workflows so technology eases the work — instead of just shifting it.
What digitalization consulting covers
Digitalization isn't a project with an end date but a way of working. Many companies introduced tools without questioning the processes behind them — and wonder why the hoped-for relief never comes. Our digitalization consulting therefore starts with the workflow, not the tool. We look at where time is lost, where media breaks occur and where data is entered twice, and redesign the process before we talk about software. The result isn't digitalization for its own sake but noticeably less friction in daily business: faster workflows, clearer responsibilities and reliable data as a basis for decisions.
Process analysis
We map existing workflows and make inefficiencies and improvement potential visible.
Mapping & modeling
Visualizing existing processes and modeling new, digital workflows.
Automation
Using fitting technologies to automate recurring and manual steps.
Software selection
Vendor-neutral selection and introduction of the systems that really fit your workflows.
Change management
We guide the transition, train users and make sure the new is adopted.
Our approach.
From the as-is assessment to the live solution — in four traceable steps.
As-is analysis
We capture processes, systems and data flows and understand where things concretely snag in daily life.
Potential
Inefficiencies and opportunities are made visible and rated by effort and benefit.
Roadmap
You receive a prioritized list of measures with a timeframe — step by step instead of all at once.
Implementation & training
We guide the rollout and train your team — on request all the way to live operation.
Why step by step is better
The "big bang", where everything is switched at once, sounds tempting but often fails on reality: too many construction sites at the same time, overloaded teams, standstill when something snags. We deliberately take the step-by-step path. Each step brings visible value, builds trust and, in a sense, finances the next. That keeps operations capable of acting at all times, the risk stays manageable, and the workforce experiences digitalization as relief instead of a threat. Measurable efficiency comes not from one big leap but from many consistent small ones.
For SMEs across Europe
As a digital agency from Dortmund we guide digitalization in mid-sized companies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland — remotely or on site. Small and medium-sized companies in particular often have the biggest quick levers: an end-to-end digital quotation process, fewer media breaks, a clean central data base. Our advantage: what we recommend, we can implement ourselves instead of passing it on to third parties.
In our experience, the biggest and fastest levers rarely lie in spectacular large projects but in everyday workflows. An end-to-end digital quotation and order process saves noticeable time per case because data is entered only once. Removing media breaks — such as the jump from email to Excel to paper and back — reduces errors and follow-up questions. And standardized, partly automated routine tasks relieve staff of activities no one misses. We help you find exactly these spots and tackle them in the right order so that every step brings visible value.
Often the path from process digitalization leads straight on: where tasks can be accelerated with artificial intelligence, AI consulting and AI implementation connect seamlessly. Concrete results from our project work can be found in our projects.
Frequently asked questions
What does digitalization consulting cost?
It depends on the project — a focused process analysis has a different scope than an engagement with a roadmap and implementation support. So we do not quote flat rates. After a free initial conversation you receive a concrete proposal with a fixed scope before you decide.
Where do you start?
With the workflow that costs the most time or causes the most errors in day-to-day business. We start with an as-is analysis, make the biggest levers visible and begin where a noticeable effect appears quickly — that builds acceptance for the next steps.
Do we have to switch our software?
Not necessarily. We advise vendor-neutral and first check what can be achieved with your existing systems. A switch only comes into question if it brings a clear benefit — not because a particular product is meant to be sold.
How do we bring the team along?
By involving them early. Digitalization only succeeds if people go along with it, so change management and training are a fixed part. We design the transition so that new workflows work in everyday life and are not felt as extra work.
Is there funding for digitalization?
For digitalization in mid-sized companies there are various funding programs depending on region and project. We are not a funding advisory service, but in conversation we point it out if a project might generally appear eligible, and we work with specialized partners where needed.
