Concept

Concept: solid strategies before implementation

Think before you build: we develop solid concepts and strategies for digital products, processes and business models — the foundation that lowers risk and cost in implementation.

A digital concept is the bridge between idea and implementation: the point where a "we should really…" becomes a solid plan.

What we conceive

The most expensive mistakes happen not during implementation but before it — when building starts before it is clear what is really needed. A good concept prevents exactly that. It takes the time to ask the right questions: what problem are we solving, for whom, and how do we measure success? Only once that stands do we get to solution approaches, architecture and technology. This order saves time, money and frustration later — and is the reason a concept is the foundation of every successful project. A good concept answers questions before they get expensive and gives everyone involved the same reliable basis for every further decision.

Holistic strategies that bring short-term goals and long-term visions together.

Business models

Developing and adapting business models to open up new markets or optimize existing ones.

Product & service design

Conceiving new products and services that create real value for your customers.

Detailed planning of the steps to successful implementation — with feedback and evaluation mechanisms.

Approach

Our concept process.

From analysis to an actionable plan — in four steps, participation-oriented.

Analysis

We clarify problem, target group and success criteria and involve relevant stakeholders early.

Strategy

We develop the strategic direction and test assumptions before they get expensive.

Concept

Solution approach, architecture and business model are condensed into a clear, documented concept.

Roadmap

You receive an actionable plan — ready for realization, with us or without.

Concept and implementation from one team

Many concepts fail at the handover: what one side plans, the other understands differently, and between strategy paper and finished product the original idea gets lost. At weooo this break disappears. We don't conceive in a vacuum but with the knowledge of more than 25 years of implementation — and can realize the concept ourselves afterwards. That means realistic concepts without blind spots, because from the start we know what is technically, time-wise and economically feasible. And if you prefer to build further in-house, we give you a foundation that holds up even without us.

The benefit

A well-thought-out concept is the cheapest insurance against expensive wrong turns. It creates clarity before budget is committed, gives everyone the same basis and makes sustainability a precondition instead of an afterthought. Especially with digital projects — a new platform, a new business model, an AI rollout — the quality of the digital concept decides whether the project holds up in the end or becomes a permanent construction site.

A dedicated concept phase is especially worth it when a lot is at stake: a larger budget, a long duration, many people involved. Then a well-thought-out concept reduces risk considerably. Even when several departments or partners work together, it creates the shared basis without which projects often get lost in misunderstandings. And when a new product, a new business model or an AI rollout is on the table, the concept makes sure the foundation stays solid and expandable. In all these cases it is not a delay but the fastest path to a result that lasts.

With us a concept flows seamlessly into implementation: usually into web development, and for AI projects into AI consulting as the next step. How concepts become solid solutions is shown by our projects.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does a concept phase cost?

It depends on the project and on depth, scope and the number of people involved. Instead of flat rates, after a free initial conversation we define the scope together and give you a fixed frame — so you know exactly what you get in advance.

Is a concept worth it before implementation?

In most cases yes. The most expensive mistakes happen not during implementation but before it — when building starts before it is clear what is really needed. A concept phase costs a fraction of what a wrongly built solution later causes in rework.

What exactly do you deliver — a document or a prototype?

It depends on the project. As a rule you receive a documented concept with requirements, solution approach, architecture or business model and a roadmap. Where it helps to test assumptions early, we add sketches or a clickable prototype.

Do you also implement it afterwards?

Yes. Unlike pure strategy consultancies, we can realize the concept ourselves — from web development to AI implementation. But you can equally continue with our concept in-house or with a partner of your choice; it is documented so that it stands on its own.

How long does a concept take?

Depending on scope, two to six weeks. During this time we work closely with you and relevant stakeholders so the concept does not miss reality but has buy-in within the company from the start.
