In Austria the RTR AI service center watches over this. Frequently asked questions about AI consulting in Austria
Which AI obligations apply to Austrian companies from 1 August 2026?
From that date further stages of the EU AI Act take effect, including the labeling requirement for AI-generated content. Since February 2025 the rule already applies: anyone using AI in their business must ensure that the staff who use it are sufficiently trained. We guide you through the requirements that are actually relevant to your company.
What is the RTR AI service center — and does it concern me?
In Austria the RTR AI service center is the body responsible for the EU AI Act and takes on the supervisory role from August 2026. As soon as you use AI in your company, it pays to know the requirements — we make sure you meet them.
Is AI also worthwhile for a sole trader or a small business?
